Climbing the Kazbek mountain is a real challenge for everyone, even the most experienced adventurer or experienced climber. This is a test of willpower, strength, and also it is a real test by beauty of North Ossetia nature.

Kazbek is one of the 7 "five-thousand" mountains in our vast homeland. Also it is the highest point of Georgia. If you dreamed of seeing the snow-covered beauty of Georgia, enjoying alpine meadows, dense forest open spaces, rugged mountain rivers - climb Kazbek with Besson team.

SCHEDULE AND PRICE OF CLIMBING KAZBEK 2019
The difficulty of the route is 2B climbing.
The program is welcomed to everyone who has already visited the mountains before, and now wants to test himself on a more serious route. Good physical training is necessary for participation.

TOUR PROGRAM ASCENT TO KAZBEK (from georgia)
Day 1

Group meeting at the airport of Mineralnye Vody in the day of the tour beginning at 12 PM near the fountain. Transfer to Stepantsminda, Georgia. The first night will be in the guesthouse.          
      
Day 2
Transfer to Gergeti trinity church. And walk to the first base camp. Installation of a tent camp at an altitude of 3000 meters on comfortable areas. Dinner.Overnight in tent camp.

Day 3
Walk to the second base camp. Installation of a tent camp at an altitude of 3750 meters on comfortable areas. Dinner.Overnight in tent camp.

Day 4

Acclimatization route to the Kazbek mountain plateau (4200 m). Acquaintance with the terrain, training with an instructor on ice and snow preparation. Self-detainment at a steep slope and proper walking in mountaineering crampons with an ice axe on a glacier. Early fall asleep. Night in the tent camp. 
        
Day 5  
Get up at 3 AM. Early breakfast. Climb to Kazbek summit (5033m). Movement in secure ropes and crampons along the glacier. The time of ascent to the summit of Kazbek takes 4-6 hours. Descent to the final camp takes 2-3 hours. Overnight in the second base camp.
         
Day 6
After breakfast we walk to Gergeti trinity church. Transfer to Stepantsminda. Night in the guesthouse.

Day 7
A spare day in case of bad weather.
        
Day 8
Transfer to Mineralnye vody.
The proposed route is completely autonomous, without shelters and electricity.
